He may not have been viewed as the best president. However he was far from the worst. Despite almost universal unpopularity he stuck to his principals. The elite and liberals hated him even though many of his actions could hardly be coded as conservative. Many still hiss and boo at the very mention of his name. What was George Bush's crimes against humanity? Bush opposed abortion from the time he entered office to the time he left. He opposed gay marriage. He stood firm against stem cell research. After 9-11 he sensed the danger from islamic fanatics and hunted them down at every possiblity. He was determined to leave Iraq stablized when most were ready to cut and run. He supported Israel and refused to recognize Hamas. Perhaps another spin to consider is what would God want America to do and stand for? I suspect God was well pleased with the president on most of his calls. George Bush was a man of honor who did the right thing most of the time. He feared God and looked upon his position as president worthy of a sacred honor. George Bush was not perfect. He could have been a great conservative and waged war on liberalism. He would not lower himself to sink to the same level as his detractors. He sought to be a unifer among those with little interest in getting along with moderates and conservatives. Just like the ancient children of Israel attacked and despised Moses after being set free from a life of bondage Bushs detractors despise and hate him despite the fact he was the driving force in protecting us from another terrorist attack. Tonight before you fall to sleep thank God for all of his blessings and protection. Thank him too for George Bush! We did not deserve this Godly man as a leader.
